Grievance officer

Indian law requires us to name a real person who is accountable for complaints, and to publish how to reach them. This page does that.

The same officer handles complaints under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 as amended, and acts as the point of contact for data protection questions under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

How quickly we respond

Acknowledgement: within 24 hours of receiving your complaint.
Resolution: within 15 days for most complaints, and within 30 days at the outside.
Synthetic or morphed content involving you (impersonation, obscene or non-consensual images): removed within 2 hours of a valid complaint, and within 3 hours where the request comes from a court or a government authority. This is the standard set by India’s 2026 amendments to the IT Rules, and it is your right.
Data rights requests (to know, correct, erase or nominate): within 30 days.

What to include

Your name and the mobile number you registered with, what happened and when, and anything that shows it — a screenshot or a receipt. If your complaint is about content, give the exact location of it.

If we do not resolve it

For data protection matters you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, which is operational. For consumer matters you may approach the National Consumer Helpline (1915) or the consumer commission with jurisdiction over your address. Using our process first is not a condition of either.
