Terms of use

Terms of use

Last updated 5 October 2026. Fields marked to be filled in are pending company details and will be completed before launch.

These terms are the agreement between you and BFSIJob Education LLP for your use of the Pehra app and this website. Using either means you accept them.

1. What Pehra is, and is not

Pehra is an information and guidance tool. It is not a bank, not a payment service, not a law-enforcement agency, not an insurer, and not a legal adviser. It helps you judge whether something is likely to be a fraud, and helps you prepare documents. It does not decide anything on your behalf and cannot recover money.

2. No guarantee of detection

Fraud changes weekly. Pehra will sometimes call a genuine message suspicious, and will sometimes fail to recognise a new scam. A verdict from the app is an opinion based on patterns, not a certainty, and the final decision is always yours. We cap displayed confidence at 96% precisely because certainty would be dishonest.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate registration details, and keep your account to yourself.
  • Add a family member to a cover only with that person’s permission, or as the lawful guardian of a child.
  • Do not use Pehra to harass anybody, to impersonate anybody, or to submit false complaints to the police or a bank.
  • Do not attempt to copy, decompile or resell the scam library or any part of the app.

4. Documents the app prepares

Complaints, dispute letters and portal answers are drafted from what you tell the app. You are responsible for reading them, correcting them and signing them. They are templates prepared for your convenience and are not legal advice, and we do not submit anything on your behalf.

5. Payment, renewal and cancellation

Family cover is sold inside the app through Google Play at ₹759 per year for up to five people, including applicable taxes. Google Play manages billing, renewal and cancellation. You can cancel renewal at any time from your Google Play account, and cover then runs to the end of the paid period. Our refund policy forms part of these terms.

6. Availability

We will try to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. Features may change, and features may be withdrawn. Everything that protects the holder of the phone — checking, Panic Mode, the rescue documents, the safety walkthroughs and the helplines — will remain free of charge.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss you suffer from a fraud, whether or not you used the app, and whether or not the app gave a verdict. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop at any time by deleting the app and, if you wish, deleting your data. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at to be filled in have exclusive jurisdiction.
